Event Description:
Join us for this Hal Wright Science and Religion Lecture Series event.  This is the inaugural year for this particular named program, however it follows in the footsteps of the 11-year running Saxon Lecture Series in Science and Religion that featured many topics such as Galileo, John Harvey Kellogg, evolution, dinosaurs, creation, the beauty of mathematics, the environment, and the new atheism.  Similar to the Saxon lectures, The Hal Wright Science and Religion Lecture Series is designed to promote intellectual discussion on topics or issues related to science or religion.

On January 12, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in Wharton Auditorium, Dr. Tim Standish from the Geoscience Institute will present his talk on "Reality Still Matters."
